Aeon is a three-part exploration of time, movement and transformation. Across the series, controlled geometric fields meet spontaneous black gestures: structure and instinct occupying the same space.
Aeon I
The muted grey of Aeon I creates a restrained, contemplative beginning. A broad curving mark crosses the quiet rectangular field, suggesting the first movement through an otherwise ordered space.
Aeon II
In Aeon II, the red ground introduces urgency and impact. The black marks become heavier and more disruptive, breaking beyond the coloured square in splashes and sudden directional strokes. What began as controlled motion becomes rupture.
Aeon III
The ochre of Aeon III brings warmth and expansion. Fine arcs, splashes and fragments move more freely around the vertical field. Japanese tattoo ink gives the black marks a fluid intensity, allowing the final panel to feel both energetic and delicately balanced.
Seen together, the panels trace a passage from restraint, through disruption, towards release. The geometric forms provide continuity, while every gestural mark records a fleeting action—a moment made permanent within the wider span of an aeon.
